Introducing the 2022 Pilots Head Coach

The Newark Pilots are excited to welcome Brian Greisman as the Head Coach for the 2022 summer season.


For the past two years, Greisman has been the head pitching coach at East Central University and Cleveland Community College, while also serving as the head coach of the Southern Shores Collegiate Baseball league in the summer of 2021.


Before his time at Cleveland Community College, Greisman was the head coach at Turner High School for a year. He also was the head coach for the Ardmore Athletes-Summer Legion/Showcase 19U Team.


He also hosted his Pitching and Hitting Lesson Academy from 2017-20, where he helped ages 6-25 on fundamental skills of the game.


Greisman spent his collegiate years at Wichita State University and Murray State College. Greisman spent his final two seasons at Wichita State. In his two seasons at Murray State College, he helped the team to a World Series Championship (2013).


While a prep, he also participated in summer league baseball. He played for the Walla Walla Sweets Summer League and the Kansas Collegiate Baseball League, earning all-star honors.


He continued his playing career in the Professional Independent Empire League, claiming a World Series Championship in 2019.


The Ardmore, Okla., native earned an associate’s degree from Murray State College in May 2014, a bachelor’s degree in communication from Wichita State in December 2017, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sports management from the University of Southern Indiana.
